Update Quote & Order Price Lists
When a Price List gets updated after a Quote or Order is created, by default, CounterGo does not change existing Quotes or Orders to the most recent version of the Price List as it may have been sent to a customer already. You do have the option to update either a Quote or an Order to the most recent version of the Price List if needed.
Quotes alert you when a Price List is not the most current. Orders are considered Quotes that have been won and potentially work has begun on them, so there is no alert banner, but it is noted in the Price Settings area of the Order. That means the steps to update a Quote or Order to the latest Price List are different.
QUOTE: UPDATE A PRICE LIST
- Open the Quote and click the Edit icon to open the Drawing steps.
- Click on Update to latest Price List in the yellow alert banner.
ORDER: UPDATE A PRICE LIST
- Open the Order and click the Edit icon to open the Drawing Steps.
- Go to Step 6.
- Click the Price Settings Edit icon.
- Click on Change Price List then select the latest Price List.
