Do you need to extend a countertop over a structure, like a vanity over a toilet? Use the Notch feature in Step 2 to create a countertop that extends over another structure.
- In Step 1 draw your countertop. Include the length of the extended piece in your total length.
- Go to Step 2 and click on the corner where the structure is located > select Notch.
- Enter the Length and Depth > Save.
- Note that the square feel calculated for material and/or fabrication will be the entire bounding rectangle - as if the notch piece had not been removed.
