Are you having trouble drawing a complex countertop? There are many interesting shapes that you can draw in CounterGo with several ways to draw those shapes. There may be shapes that you can't recreate exactly.
Sometimes it's best to only draw bounding rectangles to approximate square footage. Other shapes can be broken into smaller shapes instead of being drawn as one continuous piece. This will allow you to arrive at a useful price for your Quote. In some cases, it's preferable to print the Quote without the Drawing.
In general, non-standard shapes are approximated and their areas are totaled. CounterGo will always round up, so your Quote should not be short when it comes to estimated material, it should calculate slightly larger.
Our friendly CounterGo experts are also happy to help think through the best approach for non-standard shapes. For help, send an email with a picture of what you are trying to recreate to support@moraware.com. Not every shape can be translated to CounterGo, but our team has seen many unique counters over the years and can offer suggestions when applicable.
